Melt in mouth buttery biscuit are so addictive. This Shortbread cookies are egg-less and it can be prepared without Whisk or Mixer. Perfect for holiday treats.
Recipe type: Cokies
  • All-purpose flour/ Maida - 1 cup
  • Butter- ½ cup, softened in room temperature and diced
  • Powdered sugar - ¼ cup
  • Vanilla Extract - ½ tsp
  • Salt - pinch
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line the cookie tray with parchment paper. Grease it with butter/baking spray
  2. In electric/hand mixer whish until the butter is creamy. Add sugar and continue whisking in medium speed until it becomes fluffy
  3. Add vanilla and flour in small portion and mix in slow speed
  4. Gently knead the dough with hand once, if required (avoid over kneading)
  5. Take a small portion of the dough and gently press into circle with hand (about ¼ inch thick) and spread onto a baking sheeet. Bake for 10 - 12 minutes until its slightly golden brown in the bottom side. Cool and enjoy
