Crispy and healthy baked kale chips. Guilt free snacks
Recipe type: Chips
  • Kale - 1 bunch, washed and tired into bite size leaves; leaving the stem
  • Olive oil - 1 tbsp
  • Salt - as needed
  • Pepper powder - as needed
  • Chat masala - pinch (optional)
  1. I kept papper towel on two cookie tray and dried them, without overlapping one another alternatively Kale can also be dried in cloth. When the kale is comeptely dried transfer it into a big bowl
  2. Add oil, chat masala, salt and pepper to the kale and gently mix with a tong/ladle. Alternatively kale can also be seasoned and greaed in cookie tray directly
  3. Preheat the oven to 350 degree Fahrenheit
  4. Place aluminum foil / parchment papper on a cookie tray and place the kale without overlapping one another
  5. Bake until the edges slightly brown but are not burnt, 9 to 13 minutes
Let the kale dry in paper towel for 1-2 hours for crispy chips
Kale can also be dried in salad spinner
Paprika, Cayenne pepper,cumin,coriander powder etc. Can be added for extra flavours
