    Herb rice recipe is a tasty, flavorful easy and tasty recipe variety with garlic and butter.  The detailed recipe with tips  & tricks to make the best restaurant-style mixed herb garlic rice

    Restaurant-style herb rice

    Subtle rice variety goes well with mild creamy gravy and also spicy gravy. This is a perfect make-ahead recipe for dinner parties and get-togethers.

    Garlic Butter Rice

    I have used basmati rice. It gives a perfect grainy texture. You can use any variety of rice according to your preference 

    Tips for cooking rice 

    No need to soak the rice. Wash the rice well. Use 1+1/2 cups of water proportion to 1 cup of rice. I use a separator to cook rice.

    Can I use leftover rice?

    Yes, this is the perfect way to finish leftover fluffy rice. Always make sure rice is not super hot.

    Ingredients

    Cook rice

    1/2 cup basmati rice

    3/4 cup water

    Rice

    1 tablespoon butter

    1/2 tablespoon + 1 tablespoon garlic

    Red chilli flakes

    Italian seasoning

    Pepper powder

    Mint leaves

    Coriander leaves

    Required salt

    How to make herb rice with step-by-step pictures

    • First, wash the rice well. Add water and cook in a cooker separator for 2 whistles
    • Heat and melt butter

    • Add garlic and roast until golden brown

    • Add red chilli flakes, Italian seasoning,  pepper powder; mix well

    • Add rice, mint leaves, coriander leaves, and salt; mix well

    • Finally add Italian seasoning; mix well
