    Mango ladoo

    If you are looking for a tasty summer special, sweet mango are tasty desserts are tasty and addictive

    Mango pulp for laddu

    Fresh mango pulp if the mangoes taste sweet. The mango I tried was sour, so I used store-bought mango pulp. 

    Condensed milk - tips

    Always use room-temperature condensed milk as it helps with easy binding.

    Finely shredded coconut

    I used finely shredded coconut. You can use fresh or frozen, but dry roast at a low temperature till the moisture evaporates. Avoid changing color.  Alternatively, you can use store-bought dry, finely shredded coconut.

    Filling suggestions

    You can use tutti frutti and gulkand. You can also use fennel seed, dates, or nuts any other flavors of choice.

    Is it a firm coconut mango laddu

    No, it is soft and melt-in-mouth North Indian-style ladoo. If you prefer firm ladoo, use coconut powder. 

    Can I consume the laddu immediately?

    Rest the ladoo for at least 20 minutes, then consume 

    Shelf Life of laddu

    Stays good for 3 days. Since we added condensed milk and coconut better to finish soon.

    Ingredients

    1/2 cup mango pulp

    2 tablespoon condensed milk 

    3+1/2 tablespoon milk powder

    saffron 

    cardamom powder

    1 teaspoon ghee

    1 cup coconut, heaped

    powdered sugar

    Laddu

    dry coconut 

    ghee

    How to make coconut mango ladoo with step-by-step pictures 

    • Add ghee and turn on the stove on a low flame

    • Furthermore, add coconut and saute till the coconut turns dry; avoid changing color

    • Add the mango pulp, saffron, and cardamom powder; mix well

    • Furthermore add condensed milk and milk powder; mix well and cook till it turns non-sticky and leaves the pan

    • Transfer and cool

    • If you need extra sweetness, Greaseyour  hands with ghee

    • Take a portion, roll well

    • Coat the shredded dry coconut

    • Repeat and rest for at least 15 minutes
