Add oil to the pan and when oil turns slightly hot add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, red and green chilli; splutter
furthermore, add asafoetida and mix well
Add garlic, curry leaves and small onion; saute till onions turn translucent
furthermore add cooked dal, coriander leaves, coriander powder, a pinch of sugar chilli powder, and water; mix well and boil for 6 minutes
Finally, add ghee; mix well and turn off the stove
