First, add all the ingredients mentioned under “besan idli”; mix well
Mix beans, salt, and turmeric powder on a wide plate
Add water to the idli pan and boil

Spread beans
place another idli plate on top
add sesame oil and spread
Gradually add the besan batter to the idli plate
steam cook for 10-12 minutes till idli and beans cook well
place beans in a colander and drain the water
cool the idli and crumble
add oil to a pan and heat
when the oil turns hot, add mustard seeds, chana dal, and curry leaves; splutter
furthermore, add asafoetida; mix well
add crumbles; mix well and roast for 3 minutes
squeeze the beans; add and cook for 3 minutes
