Firstly preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
Line a baking tray with parchment paper and grease with cooking spray or butter
Add sugar and sour cream to a wide mixing bowl; whisk well till the mixture turns creamy
Furthermore, add orange zest and melted butter; mix well
Take all-purpose flour, baking soda, and baking powder; sieve well and add directly to the wet ingredients
Add orange juice; fold and mix gently
Pour orange juice into a small mixing bowl
Add food color and mix well; Transfer to the batter
If you feel you need more food color? Add it to 1 tablespoon of orange juice else add orange juice directly; mix gently
Transfer the batter to the pan and tap the pan to remove air bubbles
Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick/skewer inserted comes out clean
Cool the cake for 10 minutes
Invert and unmold the cake; cool completely
Drizzle 1 tablespoon of orange juice and serve cake
