Spread cooked rice on a wide plate
Drizzle oil and keep aside
steam cook tomato, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, sesame seeds and tamarind for 4-5 minutes or until tomato skin comes off easily
Cool and grind
Add 1 tablespoon of oil and heat
Furthermore add mustard seeds, Chana dal, roasted peanut and cashews; roast and keep aside
Add 3/4 tablespoon of sesame oil and heat
Furthermore add turmeric powder, green chilli and Kashmiri chili powder; quick mix
Add ground tomato, jaggery, asafoetida, coriander leaves, and required salt; mix well and cook till it comes to thokku stage
Furthermore add rice in batches ; mix well and cook for 3 minutes
Add tempering and cook for a minute
