Ingredients

  • 1 cup basmati rice
  • Enough water
  • 1 tablespoon curd
  • Required salt
  • 1 tablespoon crushed ginger garlic
  • 2 Green chilli
  • 1 teaspoon biryani masala
  • 1/8 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 tablespoon ghee
  • 1/4 cup coconut milk
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • Turmeric powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon biryani masala
  • 1 + 1/2 cup cabbage
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 cup +1/2 cup water

Instructions

  • First,Wash the rice well and soak for 20 minutes
  • Add ghee to a pressure cooker
  • turn on the stove to medium flame and heat the ghee
  • Furthermore,add cabbage, green chilli and ginger garlic paste; saute for 1 minute
  • add frozen peas, salt, turmeric powder, garam masala
  • Furthermore, add biryani masala; saute for 1 minute
  • add curd and mix well
  • Furthermore, Add coconut milk, rice and water;bring to boil
  • add sesame oil; quickly mix and make sure nothing stuck to the pan
  • pressure cook for 2 whistles and do natural pressure release
  • gently open the rice and fluff
