- First, add oil and heat 
- When oil turns hot add cashews, peanuts, curry leaves, and sliced almonds; roast well 
- Add pottukadalai and mix well 
- Turn the flame down and add Kashmiri chilli powder, turmeric powder, chaat masala, asafoetida, and salt; quick mix 
- Finally, add corn flakes; mix gently and turn off the stove
