Ingredients

to crush

  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon carom seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1/8 teaspoon fenugreek seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon coriander seeds
  • 3 garlic
  • Ginger
  • 1/4 cup tomatoes
  • Clove
  • Cinnamon
  • Star anise

Healthy indian soup

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt heaped
  • 1/4 cup tamarind water
  • turmeric powder
  • 1 +1/2 cup water
  • coriander leaves few
  • Palm candy
  • Curry leaves

to temper

  • 1/2 tablespoon ghee
  • asafoetida
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • Red and green chilli

Instructions

  • first, crush cumin seeds, pepper, fenugreek seeds, omam seeds, and coriander seeds; crush well
  • Furthermore, add garlic, ginger and tomatoes; crush again
  • Add ghee and heat
  • Furthermore add mustard seeds;splutter
  • Add red chilli, green chilli and Asafoetida; mix well
  • Furthermore add crushed mixture and turmeric powder; saute for a minute
  • Add coriander leaves, turmeric powder and curry leaves; mix well
  • Furthermore add tamarind water, water and salt; bring to boil
  • Crush clove, cinnamon and star anise; add a ladle of rasam; mix well and transfer
  • Bring to frothy boil and turn off the stove
