Ingredients

Rasam grind

  • 1 tbsp horse gram
  • 1/2 tbsp coriander seeds
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • Curry leaves
  • 1 big tomatoes
  • 6 garlic
  • 1/4 tsp fenugreek seeds
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/4 tsp carom seeds

Rasam

  • 1 cup tamarind water
  • Required salt
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 +1/2 cup water
  • Coriander leaves few

TO SPLUTTER

  • 1 tbsp ghee
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • Red chilli
  • Curry leaves

Instructions

  • First dry roast horse gram well
  • Furthermore add pepper, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, carom seeds, and fenugreek seeds ; saute for 30 seconds
  • Add garlic and curry leaves;mix and turn off the stove
  • Coarse grind
  • Furthermore, add tomatoes; coarse grind again
  • Add ghee and heat
  • Furthermore, add mustard seeds and splutter
  • Add red chilli and curry leaves; roast
  • Furthermore add coarse mixture and saute
  • Add salt, turmeric powder, water, coriander leaves and tamarind water; bring to frothy boil
