Ingredients

Pressure cook

  • 1 raw banana
  • 1 nendran
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 green chilli
  • 1 teaspoon salt

To grind

  • 1 cup coconut heaped
  • 3 green chilli
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 2 tablespoon + 1/2 cup curd

To temper

  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • Red chilli
  • Curry leaves
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • Katti kalan
  • Water
  • Fenugreek seeds 1/4 tsp

Instructions

  • First, Add the ingredients under “pressure cook”for 1 whistles
  • Grind the ingredients mentioned under “to grind”
  • Add the ground mixture and little water to the cooked vegetables; cook for 4 minutes
  • Heat coconut oil
  • Furthermore add mustard seeds, red chilli and curry leaves; splutter
  • Transfer to the katti kalan
  • Finally add fenugreek seeds; mix well and cover till serving
