Turn on the Instant pot in sauté mode. Add ghee and once when the ghee is hot add the ingredients given under "to temper", let it splutter
Add onion, tomato, green chilli, ginger and garlic,give a quick stir. Add carrot and potato, sauté once
Add moong dal, chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and salt. Finally add water; mix well
Turn the Instant pot to manual mode and set 18 minutes - high temperature
After the pressure realized naturally. Open the Instant pot Dal is ready serve hot with a dallop of ghee
