Ingredients

TO SOAK

  • 1/2 cup soya chunks
  • Hot water

TO MARINATE

  • Required salt
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tbsp tikka masala
  • 2 tbsp curd For Tikka

  • 1 tbsp ghee
  • 1/4 cup capsicum chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup onion chopped
  • 1 tsp besan flour
  • Lemon juice
  • Kasoori methi

Instructions

  • Add soya chunks to a wide bowl. Pour hot water and soak for 30 minutes.
  • ️ Transfer to a colander, drain completely, and squeeze out all excess water.
  • ️ Place the squeezed soya chunks in a bowl. Add salt, garam masala, tikka masala, and curd. Mix well.
  • ️ Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  • ️ Heat ghee in a heavy-bottomed wide pan.
  • ️ Add garlic, onion, and capsicum. Sauté well.
  • ️ Add the marinated soya chunks. Mix and cook for about 1½ minutes.
  • ️ Sprinkle besan flour and cook for another 2–3 minutes.
  • ️ Turn off the heat. Squeeze lemon juice, crush kasoori methi between your palms, add it, and mix well.
