Sri lankan Spinach curry

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
  • Red chilli
  • 5 garlic
  • 8 small onions
  • 2 green chilli
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 100 grams spinach
  • 1/4 teaspoon heaped salt
  • 1/3 cup coconut milk
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  • First heat coconut oil
  • add mustard seeds, fennel seeds and red chilli; roast
  • Furthermore,add garlic green chilli and small onions; saute well
  • add turmeric powder and spinach; Saute till spinach gets wilted
  • Furthermore, add coconut milk, water and salt; mash and cook till curry comes together
