To Pressure Cook:

½ cup toor dal

2 tbsp chana dal

1 tbsp masoor dal

2½ cups hot water

2 green chillies

¼ tsp turmeric

Salt to taste

Dal Base:

½ tbsp ghee

1 green chilli

½ tsp cumin seeds

1 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder

½ tsp coriander powder

Pinch of hin

1 tomato

Salt as needed

Optional:

¼ tsp dry ginger powder

2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves

1–2 tsp lemon juice

Tempering:

½ tbsp ghee

½ tsp cumin seeds

1–2 dried red chillies

Pinch of hing
