Ingredients

  • 4 cups Whole-fat milk
  • 1 cup sugar

Instructions

  • In a wide heavy bottomed pan add milk and let it boil
  • Cook on low flame keep stirring and scrape the sides regularly
  • make sure it is not burnt, and keep doing it every time the milk starts boiling
  • At one stage milk reduces to 1/3 quantity and becomes like a cream
  • Add the sugar around that time and keep stirring
  • cook till the sugar melts well and therattipal becomes a whole mass
  • Turn off immediately and transfer to Another dish to prevent further cooking
