Andhra style Kaaram chutney

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 green chilli
  • Red chilli
  • 1 tsp coriander seeds
  • 4 garlic
  • 2 onion
  • Required salt
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • Turmeric powder
  • Coriander leaves
  • Curry leaves
  • Tamarind

To temper

  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seedsl
  • Curry leaves
  • Red chilli

Instructions

  • First, add sesame oil and heat
  • Furthermore, add coriander seeds, green and red chilli; quick mix
  • Add garlic; saute till garlic starts to change color
  • Furthermore Add onion and turmeric powder; saute till onion turns translucent
  • Add salt, tamarind and cumin seeds; saute for 2 minutes
  • Furthermore, add coriander leaves and curry leaves; mix well and turn off
  • Coarse Grind the chutney without adding water
  • Add oil and heat
  • Furthermore add mustard seeds; let them splutter
  • Add curry leaves and red chilli; roast well
  • Transfer; mix well and serve
