Instructions

  • Take 1/3 cup of sugar in a mixie jar and grind it into a fine powder

  • I have kept a 1/2 cup mixture for the chocolate laddu
  • To the remaining mixture, add 2 tablespoon of almond flakes and mix well
  • Add warm melted ghee little by little
  • I added around 1/4 cup; the amount may slightly vary according to your milk powder
  • Add 3 tablespoon and mix well, try to form a ball
  • If it crumbles, add some more ghee; else shape into a laddu, and over milk powder laddu is ready
  • For the chocolate laddu, take 1/2 cup of the mixture

Notes

  1. Always add warm ghee for making laddu. You can't roll laddu if you use room temperature ghee
  2. You can use rose essence for extra flavor
  3. Saffron can be added to laddu fit extra taste
  4. Milk can be used instead of ghee for milk powder laddu and chocolate laddu by shelf life is less if you use milk
  5. For chocolate, laddu use extra sugar if required
  6. Store-bought powdered sugar can be used instead of homemade
  7. Use a good quality milk powder and the flavor varies depending on the milk powder
  8. If you are adding cashews saute them in ghee and add
  9. If the laddu turns crumbly add more ghee
