    WHY Capsicum curry?

Capsicum stir fry with besan is perfect for a healthy, tasty lunch/dinner. It tastes good as a side dish with a variety rice or with rice accompaniments

    Should I steam cook capsicum?

No, steaming capsicum gives a different flavor. Sprinkling water and cooking in oil gives the best flavor

    Can I skip the onion?

Yes, onion is optional, but it gives amazing flavor to the capsicum besan curry, but you can skip it according to your taste

Can I use oil/ ghee to sauté gram flour?

No dry roasting gives gram flour the best taste and texture. Always roast on a low flame until it turns aromatic and changes slightly.

Should I sprinkle water after adding gram flour?

I prefer a roasted texture, so I generally don't sprinkle water. Sprinkle water after adding besan to give a different texture to the besan capsicum sabzi, so add accordingly.

    COOKING OIL FOR PORIYAL?

I have used peanut oil. You can add any oil of your choice.
