    HOW LONG SHOULD I SOAK RICE?

    If you plan to cook pulao in the pan, soak it for 30 minutes. For pressure cooker pulao, soak rice for about 20 minutes. Adjust the soaking time according to the variety of rice you use

    CAN I COOK cabbage coconut milk PULAO IN THE INSTANT POT?

    Yes, for the instant pot matar pulav skip soaking the rice. Add 1:1 1/4  rice to water ratio. Bring to a boil, cook for 5 minutes, and do natural pressure release. 

    CAN I COOK cabbage peas rivf IN OIL?

    Yes, using ghee is optional but gives the rice a good flavor. You can use oil for cooking and add a few drops of ghee for aroma.

    ALTERNATE FOR biryani MASALA?

    You can use add masala powders like red chilli powder, kitchen king masala, and garam masala instead of biryani masala. Adjust the masala according to your spice.

    Ingredients

    Soak rice

    1 cup basmati rice

    Enough water

    1 tablespoon curd

    1 teaspoon sesame oil

    Required salt

    1 tablespoon crushed ginger garlic

    2 Green chilli 

    1 teaspoon biryani masala

    1/8 teaspoon turmeric powder

    1 tablespoon ghee

    1/4 cup coconut milk

    1 teaspoon garam masala

    Turmeric powder

    1/4 teaspoon biryani masala

    1+ 1/2 cup cabbage

    1 cup +1/2 cup water

    how to make cabbage peas pulao with step-by-step pictures 

    • First, Wash the rice well and soak it for 20 minutes
    • Add ghee to a pressure cooker

    • turn on the stove to medium flame and heat the ghee
    • Furthermore, add cabbage, green chill,i and ginger garlic paste; saute for 1 minute

    • add frozen peas, salt, turmeric powder, garam masala

    • Furthermore, add biryani masala; saute for 1 minute

    • add curd and mix well

     

    • Furthermore, Add coconut milk, rice, and water; bring to boil

    • add sesame oil; quickly mix and make sure nothing stuck to the pan

    • pressure cook for 2 whistles and do a natural pressure release

    • gently open the rice and fluff
