Whole-fat milk gives creamy custard. You can also use 2% milk. Avoid 1% milk.
Custard powder
custard powder available in stores comes in handy for this recipe. I used vanilla flavor, you can use any flavor of your choice. Custard powder milk tends to turn thick over time so avoid adding more.
sugar
though fruits have natural sweetness, I would recommend adding sugar to make tasty custard. White sugar is traditionally used. If you are using other sweeteners, color and taste might vary accordingly.

- mix well after adding custard milk to avoid lumps
