Milagu kuzhambu Rasam Erissery
Firstly, Soak cowpea (black eyed pea) or red chori overnight or for atleast 5 hours in hot water
1-HOUR WEEKDAY LUNCH
- Soak toor dal for at least half an hour and Pressure cook toor dal
- In a separate cooker cook cowpeas and pumpkin in two cooker separator
- Saute the ingredients for Milagu Kuzhambu and let it cool
- keep rice
- Ground coconut for erissery and boil cooked pumpkin, cowpeas and coconut paste
- Wash the mixie jar and ground the Kuzhambu ingredients. Use tamarind paste and prepare kuzhambu
- Use tamarind paste and prepare rasam with the cooked dal
