1 tablespoon Moong dal
Water to soak
To temper
1 tablespoon coconut oil
1 teaspoon urad dal
1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
2 red chilli
1 green chilli
Curry leaves few
Poriyal
2 garlic
1/3 cup small onion
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
Required salt
Pinch of sugar
1/3 cup coconut
How to make murungai keerai poriyal with step-by-step pictures

First, Wash and soak moong dal for 30 minutes

discard the stem and collect murungai keerai leaves well. wash well and roughly chop. avoid fine chopping

drain the water in a colander

add oil and when the oil is hot add mustard seeds, urad dal, red chilli, and curry leaves; let it splutter

furthermore, Add onions and garlic; cook till the onions are translucent
