    Thogayal Rasam Poriyal

    Meal planning

    • Chop and keep, brinjal ready
    • if you are using frozen coconut, thaw them
    • Keep rice 
    • Soak dal for 20 minutes

    Lunch cooking 

    • Pressure cook dal for rasam
    • Saute the curry spice and let it cool
    • In a separate pan saute  all the ingredients for coconut thogayal and let it cool
    • Saute brinjal and let it cool
    • After the dal is cooked use tamarind paste and prepare rasam
    • Ground curry powder and prepare brinjal podi curry
    • Wash mixie once and ground coconut thogayal
    • Microwave appalam for 1 minute and serve lunch
