If you have a kid who is picky about vegetables this pasta is perfect.

Lunch box recipe – broccoli pasta

Easy and tasty broccoli pasta is perfect for a packed lunch. 

Pasta for green pasta

I have used bow-tie pasta but you can use any pasta of your choice. Cook according to pasta package instruction.

Will it taste good without cream/butter/ cheese

yes, cashew and paneer along with veggies turn creamy


can I skip paneer

I added paneer to increase protein and create a creamy texture. yes, but the texture might vary.

how long should I cook pasta in sauce 

Cashew and paneer help pasta thicken over time. Avoid overcooking.

Can I use butter instead of oil

yes, you can use butter

Ingredients 

1 tbsp olive oil

3 garlic

1/4 cup onion

1 spring onion

Italian seasoning

1 tbsp capsicum

2 cashews

salt

1 tbsp peas

25 g paneer

1 broccoli

135 g pasta

water

how to make broccoli pasta with step-by-step pictures

  • First, Heat oil

  • Add garlic, onion, spring onion, cashews and capsicum; roast well

  • furthermore add broccoli, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper powder, and peas; saute well

  • turn off and transfer
  • Add paneer and cool

  • add water, salt and Italian seasoning; boil well

  • cook pasta and transfer it to a colander

  • drizzle oil

  • Grind the cool veggies with pasta water



  • transfer to a pan

  • furthermore, add cooked pasta; saute for 2 minutes

  • top with seasoning and red chilli flakes serve hot
