    walnut butter cookies (whole wheat)

    1-minute eggless microwave cookies

Can I ground almonds and make Chocolate chip cookies?

No, homemade ground almond with ooze out the oil. Store-bought almond flour works best for the recipe. I have used Kirkland almond flour.

    Why my cookies turn hard?

Always use good fresh baking powder for the best taste. Cookies might look underdone initially but they turn crunchy in some time. Avoid over baking. Always make even sized cookies.  Roll and flatten the cookie for the best even baking

Can I make cookies on the stove?

Heat a wide non-stick pan on a small burner, turn on the stove in very low heat.  Place cookies in the pan about 1 inch apart (avoid overlapping) and cover with a lid. Allow the cookies to cook in a pan over low heat for 13-16 minutes. The cookies are done when they are crisp on the bottom and just set on top. They will look slightly underdone, but sets as they cool.

    Notes

    1. If you are making the cookie on the stove, Heat a wide non-stick pan on a small burner, over very low heat. Place cookies in the pan about 1 inch apart (avoid overlapping) and cover with a lid. Allow the cookies to cook in a pan over low heat for 13-16 minutes. The cookies are done when they are crisp on the bottom and just set on top. They will look slightly underdone, but sets as they cool
    2. Add cardamom powder, rose essence, or any other flavoring of your choice
    3. Remove the cookie after they turn brown at the bottom. Biscuits will look slightly underdone after taking out of the oven but as they cool down it turns perfect
    4. Always use store-bought almond flour
    5.  Homemade ground almonds might turn oily
    6. Instead of making it as a chocolate chip cookie, you can also bake it 8inch square pan for around 13-15 minutes. Cooldown and cut into squares - tasty Chocolate chip squares
    7. Microwave the cookie for 1-2 minutes. Time may vary depending on the power
    8. Oven baking temperature may slightly vary from oven to oven also based on the thickness of the cookie dough
    9. Water quantity may vary slightly depending on your almond flour. I used Kirkland almond flour
    10. Instead of chocolate chips cookie you can also make almond flour cookies plain or add nuts of your choice, coconut, sesame seeds, saffron, little jam in the center, etc. can be added for extra flavor
