Almond flour Chocolate Cookies  | almond flour cookies | eggless chocolate cookies | almond cookies with chocolate icing is so addictive. Eggless cookies are a tasty and healthy treat with Almond flour. It is delicious Gluten-free cookies.

Recently I am exploring Almond flour recipes a lot. From now on you will see lot of Almond flour recipes in TMF. Not only because I good Almond flour from Costco 😂😂 I have been using wheat and oats flour a lot before Vishvak gets bored with that, but I should also start some more options.

After coming to US I found lots of interesting new ingredients which I haven't used before. When Vishvak was around 15 months he was not a big fan of eating nuts. I try using nuts in his snacks. That's when I started buying Almond flour. During my last year break, my mother-in-law taught me how to make Almond burfi with almond flour. Vishvak loves it, I used to do it frequently and started buying almond flour regularly.

Few weeks back when we went to grocery stores, girls scout was selling cookies, we got a pack and Vishvak was telling Akka (sister) cookies and kept munching. Soon the pack was over and asked for some more cookies.

I thought of giving a try with Almond flour. I first tried Almond cookies like my shortbread cookies, just altering the recipe a little. It was a big hit at home. My chocolate lover was asking for chocolate cookies, so here is a double treat with chocolate frosting.

If you are looking for ways to add almonds in your kids meal, this cookie is a perfect way with their favorite flavor healthy almonds goes in.

These delicious cookies can be prepared within 10 minutes, and did I mention the number of ingredients required for Almond flour egg-less cookies, just 6 ingredients. I love easy recipes like this, which is done quickly and requires very few ingredients.

One more thing I love about chocolate frosted Almond cookies is the process, no step by step. Put everything together mix it and bake, such a breeze to bake recipes like this.

How could I forget the fact that these cookies are gluten- free and of course egg-less. Whether it is a tea time snack for adults or mid-morning/evening snacks for kids (toddler) these cookies are always a winner. Chocolate frosting and almond sprinkle gives me a chance to tell Vishvak, it is a cookie dessert

    Notes

    1. Microwave timing to melt chocolate sauce may vary depending on the setting. Watch out to avoid burning
    2. Chocolate sauce can be made using a double broiler technique
    3. If you are avoiding chocolate icing/frosting adjust the sugar accordingly
    4.  Cookies I made are mild-sweet, adjust the sugar according to your taste
    5. Sprinkling almonds are optional. Add nuts of your choice or skip it
    6. Cool cooking completely before adding frosting
    7. Almond extract can be used instead of vanilla
    8. The extra melted chocolate will be there, use it for chocolate milk or pancakes etc
    9. Baking time may vary depending on the size of thof cookie dough
    10. If you are using turbinado sugar/jaggery powder it once and use
    11.  Cookie can be pressed with the downside of a small cup/ plate alternatively instead of a cookie scoop

All of the ingredients are ones that I really like. And it is so clever of you to sneak in good nutritious ingredients for your children. I was going to pick up almond flour at the grocery store but it was very pricey. I'll have to check it out at Costco. Great recipe.

I've never used almond flour before, but I must remember to do so. These cookies look so delicious and I can't believe that there's just a few basic ingredients. They end up looking so pretty and with very little work.

Chocolate and almonds are a match made in heaven. I love experimenting with GF baking, and this will be a welcome addition to my list of "must try" recipes. They sound totally addictive, and I know they would disappear in a flash. Even non GF people will devour them.
