In that case use extra cashew. You can also grind with besan flour.
Can I skip curd for paneer marinating?
Yes, traditionally it is not added for dahi wali paneer but for the homestyle version I use it as it helps for paneer to retain the softness.

1/2 cup capsicum
1/2 teaspoon Kashmiri chilli powder
1+ 1/2 cup paneer
1 tablespoon curd
1/2 teaspoon Garam masala
1/2 teaspoon Shahi paneer masala
1/2 tablespoon Peanut oil

1 tablespoon melon seeds
1 tablespoon cashew
1 cup curd
Gravy
1/2 cup Water
1 tablespoon Butter
Turmeric powder
1 teaspoon Kashmiri chilli powder
1 teaspoon Coriander powder
1/3 cup milk
Salt
1/2 teaspoon garam masala
Pinch Cardamom powder
Kasoori methi
Pinch of sugar
Heavy cream
how to make dahi wala paneer with step-by-step pictures
- first, mix and rest the ingredients under “marinate”
- Soak melon seeds and cashews in warm water
- Grind and add curd
- Grind again
- Saute paneer and capsicum in 1/2 tablespoon of butter
- Saute turmeric powder, Kashmiri chilli powder, and coriander powder in 1/2 tablespoon butter
- Add the ground mixture and cook
