leftover rice akki roti
Akki is a traditional South Indian breakfast recipe. Healthy tasty Indian crepe is a filling breakfast option for school kids. In our home, we also like having Adai for dinner.
What tastes best with Adai?
Country sugar/ jaggery are the other most popular sides for Adai dosa. We like pairing Adai with chutney, Idli podi, and tamarind-based Kuzhambu in our home.
Can I skip rice flour?
It gives the perfect balance of crispness at the same time soft (not dense) Adai that my kids and our family enjoy
what kind of rice works
I used sona masoori rice. you can use any variety make sure it is mushy. if it is so fluffy pulse it once
Why Sesame oil for the Adai recipe?
It gives the best flavor but you can add any oil you choose.
