Why lemon ginger tea?

Lemon and ginger are good for health. Consuming this tea helps to reduce headaches and inflammation. It is also a good remedy for cold/ cough. It is also good for weight loss

Can I consume ginger lemon tea daily?

Though it is good for health avoid consuming it daily. Consult your dietician for more details.

When should I consume caffeine-free tea?

you can consume it any time of the day but  It is believed that consuming ginger tea before bedtime helps for good sleep during sick days.

GINGER OR GINGER POWDER

You can use ginger or ginger powder. if you are using fresh ginger; wash well, peel the skin then use. 

REPLACEMENT FOR honey

Honey is good for sore throat but if it is not available you can use panarkarkandu or regular sugar.

Can I add honey to hot tea?

It is according to individual choice. If you are not comfortable adding honey when the tea is hot. Add before consuming

Home remedies for cold and cough

Ingredients 

3 cups of water

1 teaspoon ginger, grated

Lemon 1 big

1 teaspoon honey

How to make Lemon ginger tea with step-by-step pictures 

  • First, add water and ginger

  • Boil for 7-8 minutes

  • Turn off the stove and filter the ginger tea

  • Add honey or sweeter of your choice

  • Thinly slice half of the lemon and add 
  • Furthermore, squeeze the remaining half lemon; mix gently and serve warm tea
