- First, wash the moong dal well
- Add hot water and red chilli; soak for 30 minutes
- Furthermore, add cumin seeds, ginger, curry leaves, and salt; grind well
- Transfer and add 1 tablespoon of water and coriander leaves; mix well
- Heat the oil in a greased griddle on medium flame
- Sprinkle a little water and check if the water droplets sizzle
- Mix the batter well
- Add a ladle full of batter; spread well
- Drizzle oil on top
- Dip the dosai ladle in water; make sure the water is not dripping
- Gently flip
- Cook the dosai on both sides well
- Serve hot
