Almond Flour Laddu | Badam Ladoo is one of the quickest Indian sweets you can make — ready in just 10 minutes with no roasting, no soaking, and almost zero cooking. Made using almond flour, ghee, sugar, and cardamom, these soft, melt‑in‑the‑mouth laddus are perfect for festivals, kids’ snacks, or last‑minute sweet cravings.

Do I need to roast almond flour before making laddus? No. Almond flour is already processed and has no raw smell, so it can be used directly.

Can I replace sugar with jaggery or brown sugar? Yes. Powdered jaggery or brown sugar works well and adds a deeper flavor.

Why is my laddu mixture too dry? Add a little more melted ghee, ½ teaspoon at a time, until it binds easily.

Why is my mixture too sticky? Add 1–2 teaspoons of almond flour to balance the texture.

Can I make this completely no‑cook? Yes. If your ghee is already melted (room temperature), you don’t need to heat anything.

How long do almond laddus stay fresh? They stay good for up to a week at room temperature in an airtight container.

Can I add nuts or flavor variations? Absolutely. Chopped nuts, saffron, or a pinch of nutmeg can be added for extra richness.

Is this sweet healthy? Almonds and ghee are nutritious, but since sugar is added, enjoy them in moderation — perfect for occasional treats.

Notes

  1. Chopped/sliced almonds can be used. If you are using cashew sauté in the ghee and add
  2. Confectionary sugar can be used instead of powdering the sugar
  3.  Almond extract can be used for extra flavour
  4.  Adjust the sugar according to your sweetness
  5.  Milk can be used instead of ghee but shelf life will be less for milk
  6.  If you are using melted butter. Microwave or cook the butter for 2-3 minute to take off the raw smell
  7. For vegan version vegan butter/ almond milk can get used
  8. If you are using regular almonds soak and peel the skin. Sauté in the pan to remove the wet texture and powder it
  9. The amount of ghee may vary depends on the almond flour . Try adding 2 tbsp initially and gradually increase
