Almond flour Laddu | Almond laddu | Badam laddu | Badam ladoo | Almond flour recipes can be prepared within 10 minutes. Badam Laddu is perfect for quick evening snacks or healthy sweets for kids and adults. Almond flour stays good for a week. No sauting of flour required. With less than 2 minutes of cooking, this is one of the easiest sweets with Almond flour.
Yes “Sweet February” continues and as I told you, here is yet another tasty Indian sweet with almond flour😊 Whenever I think about Indian sweets, Burfi, payasam, Halwa, and of course Laddu is something that strikes me immediately. I have posted all the remaining sweets for this season, how can I miss Laddu with Almond flour😋 I know my blog is flooded with Almonds flour recipes, but this is one final recipe based on almond flour for this month🤣
Last summer when my parents came, and Amma experimented with some sweets with Almond flour. Ever since my childhood days, I am a big fan of Laddu. Rava Laddu was one of my all-time favorite sweets. Almonds are good for health so we got all excited while experimenting recipes. I know if it is taken with sugar, some of us won’t put it in the healthy category. Once in a while sweets are ok right☺️
I like the sweets which involve less time in kitchen and also the ones with fewer ingredients. Almond Laddu wins in both. Almond Laddu can be prepared within 10 minutes, how easy is that😀. Since Almond flour is used for this preparation, no soaking, peeling skin is required for this preparation. Also, the Laddu can be prepared without any cooking.
If you live in a cold place like me you might need a minute or 2 to melt ghee or butter and that said, no more cooking required. Also Laddu need not be rolled super hot, even if the melted ghee /butter is in room temperature the Laddu holds well.
Yes, I am going to again praise Almond flour😎 No need sauté the almond flour for raw smell, almond flour can be directly used for the almond ball preparation.
I personally like my sweets with a lot of ghee/butter. I believe ghee is more healthy so I have been liberal while using it. It is a snack for my kids so I went easy with ghee😊 to Refer my notes for alternative ✋🏻

Notes
- Chopped/sliced almonds can be used. If you are using cashew sauté in the ghee and add
- Confectionary sugar can be used instead of powdering the sugar
- Almond extract can be used for extra flavour
- Adjust the sugar according to your sweetness
- Milk can be used instead of ghee but shelf life will be less for milk
- If you are using melted butter. Microwave or cook the butter for 2-3 minute to take off the raw smell
- For vegan version vegan butter/ almond milk can get used
- If you are using regular almonds soak and peel the skin. Sauté in the pan to remove the wet texture and powder it
- The amount of ghee may vary depends on the almond flour . Try adding 2 tablespoon initially and gradually increase
