Weekday calls for a quick lunch/dinner. With a 4 year old at home, including protein in everyday meal is one of my concerns. One day when hubby said he is going to have team lunch I was in a big dilemma when thinking about lunch for me and my son. That’s when my friend Latha called. I told her about my lunch confusion she suggested this Khichdi.

I love easy and simple recipes like this. Since the call was around 10am I doubted if I could make it that day, worrying about the moong bean cooking. That’s when she told me it works even without soaking 🤔 I decided to go ahead and started preparing.

I got a perfectly cooked moong bean Khichdi that day itself I decided to note down the recipe before I could forget it and uploaded it in my YouTube channel. 😊
