Meal planning

  • Firstly, Soak channa dal and toor dal for at least one hour in hot water
  • Also, soak dal for rasam separately
  • Chop and keep beans, tomato,  raw mango, and mango ready
  • If you are frozen coconut keep it out and thaw
  • Keep rice

Lunch cooking 

  • Pressure cook rasam dal 
  • Drain the soaked water and ground paruppu usili dal along with red chilli, turmeric powder, salt, and little water into a coarse mixture
  • Steam cook the usili dal and cool it
  • Wash the mixie and ground  coconut for pulissery and prepare mor kuzhambu
  • Cook beans and drain excess water
  • Meantime, use tamarind paste and prepare rasam
  • Do tempering and prepare instant mango pickle
  • After the dal is cool, pulse them and prepare paruppu usili
