Lemon rice Curd rice Varuval vadam thokku
- Firstly, chop plantain and soak in water
- Fry vadam and keep it aside
- Keep rice for lemon rice and curd rice separately
1-HOUR lunch preparation
- Cook the plantain till they turn fork tender and drain the water
- Prepare the marination and refriegretae
- Fluff the rice for lemon sadam and keep aside
- Mash the rice kept for curd rice and add milk and salt
- After the rice is cool prepare lemon sadam
- Prepare varuval
- After the rice is cool, add curd and mix well
- Serve the lunch with onion thokku or pickle of your choice
