Lemon rice Curd rice Varuval vadam thokku

  • Firstly,  chop plantain and soak in water
  • Fry vadam and keep it aside
  • Keep rice for lemon rice and curd rice separately

1-HOUR lunch preparation

  • Cook the plantain till they turn fork tender and drain the water
  • Prepare the marination and refriegretae
  • Fluff the rice for lemon sadam and keep aside
  • Mash the rice kept for curd rice and add milk and salt
  • After the rice is cool prepare lemon sadam
  • Prepare varuval
  • After the rice is cool, add curd and mix well
  • Serve the lunch with onion thokku or pickle of your choice
